Fashion Designer

While some people find solace in religion, my passion lies in the realms of fashion and art. They are the essence of my being. Everywhere I travel, my senses are attuned to the artistic way of perception, and I find myself engaged in creative expression. In my perspective, the significance of visual arts transcends words; it is a universal language that connects people despite geographical and cultural contrasts, and unites souls with disparate interests. Fashion offers a limitless canvas for self-expression, making them powerful tools for communication.

My devotion to the world of arts ignited at an early age. Since I was 13, my heart has been set on pursuing a career in Fashion Design. I embarked on this journey, dedicating life to this dream. At the tender age of 15, I established my own startup brand, "LML Designs." It was born out of a hand-painted leather bag, a heartfelt Christmas gift for my mother. The bag garnered the admiration of her friends. Thus it began my foray into bag painting, and later, spray-painting, fueled by my passion for the rebellious spirit of street art. After several months of artistic toil, I amassed enough inventory to launch a modest pop-up shop at a horse show. To my delight, the bags sold out within three days. The experience of selling something I had created and conversing with genuine customers was immensely fulfilling.

During those three days, fate intervened, introducing me to an event manager from Dior in Paris. Impressed by my unwavering drive and distinctive creative style, he believed in my potential and introduced me to the avenue Montaigne shop manager in Paris. This fortuitous encounter led to my first internship at Dior's flagship store in Paris, all at the age of 15. This experience provided me with an invaluable firsthand glimpse into the essential business facets that underpin successful fashion labels. In the ensuing years, I sought to immerse myself in every part of the fashion industry, recognizing that a comprehensive understanding is pivotal to realizing my aspirations as a successful fashion designer. My journey included work at a model agency, accompanying models to Berlin Fashion Week, and an internship at the International Management Group (IMG) to gain insights into license sales. Furthermore, I benefited from the professional perspective offered by the fashion design and business summer courses at ESMOD. Subsequently, I contributed my efforts to the German Fashion Week, culminating in the commencement of my studies at Worlds oldest fashion university, ESMOD Paris in 2021. Each of these distinct experiences deepened my love for the fashion industry.

In addition to my drive for fashion and art, internationality and diversity have been defining elements of my life. They have significantly shaped my creative outlook and my commitment to a successful and sustainable approach to fashion. My work with UNICEF for women's and children's rights is interwoven into all my design concepts. I seek to emphasize the strength of the female identity without resorting to stereotypical portrayals. I also tackle challenging themes such as oppression, rape, and domestic violence in my collections, aiming to broach these topics in a sensitive and non-controversial manner, evoking emotional responses. This work is not only philosophical, but also based on the profound researches combining various cases, lawsuits, personal interviews with victims to create unique profiles of each art’s piece.

Furthermore, my voluntary work with the Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff UNICEF Foundation, involvement in a youth political party, and participation in the Model of United Nations program at the World Youth Economic Forum in Shanghai have heightened my awareness of social and environmental sustainability and responsibility. Finally, as a professional horse rider, I imbibed the principles of discipline and structure from an early age, recognizing their pivotal role in achieving success in any endeavour I undertake.
